can someone find the folks of michel hendrichsen b-1770 in orland? i am trying to go back time on his family with no luck.

Is this a person that have imigrated to USA.Or did he lived in Norway all his life?Have found two people in the count for 1801.One in Kjøllefjord he is 14 year.And one in Sneaasen Trøndelag he is 37 year.So do you have any more things to share about him I can try to help you

I have "gårdhistorie" for this farm/area, but the first information on Mikkel is that he married Maren Ingebrigtsdatter, widow after the first owner listed at Indre Dueskar.
- I believe this is information you already have ?
I have not found Mikkel`s birth in the churchbooks for Ørland, but I`ll keep him in mind.

Nbr 392 Mikkel Hendrichsen sounds promising, as he was 31 yrs in 1801 so he was born in 1770. His wife was:
393 Maren Ingebrigtsdtr Wife 33yrs 2nd marriage Female
Maren Ingebrigtsdaughter seems to be from the Indskar area/farm.

Two stepchildren in census:
394 Ingebrigt Rejersen Stepsonn 5yrs Male
395 Maria Rejersdtr Stepdaughter 10yrs Female
This probably means they were from Maren's 1st marriage and not children of Mikkel.

Mikkel Hendrichsen (1st marriage)
+ Maren Ingebrigtsdatter (2nd mariage)
- Maren Rejersdtr (b. ca. 1791) Her daughter from 1st marriage.
- Ingebrigt Rejersen/Estensen (b. ca 1796) Her son from 1st marriage.
Maren's 1st marriage was with Reier Estensen. He died in 1800, 42yrs old.

Ingebrigt Estensen was christened in Orland church on March 10th 1798. (Born October 20th 1797)
Parents: Rejer Estensen from Dueskarret and wife Maren Ingebrichtsdtr.

- Ole, b, 02.11.1801, drowned 22.10.1811
- Beret Henrika, b. 01.10.1807
- Henrika, b. 28.05.1809
- Regina, b. 01.08.1813


Mikkel and (his brother?) Arndt Hendrichsen bought the Dahle farm (in Skaugdalen i the Rissa Parish) from Hornemann December 31st 1814.
They both came from Solberg farm in Leinstrand. Mikkel had the east part of Dahle.

Maria Rejersen, married 1840 Ole Sivertsen from Rotås (Rotaas).

Mikkel's wife Maren died on july 26th 1853.

hi,
he lived his whole life in norway. i am not sure how it was spelled i have seen diff. ways
i have a martin torstensen b-8jan 1835 in rissa, he married 26 july 1865 to- maren christinsdatter, martin took the farm name he lived on when he came to the usa, which was wangen he and his wife lived chicago ill. they had five children one was born in norway before they left. i was just wondering if you were from the wangen farm in rissa area?

Mikkel was not born in Ørland as you can see. His birthplace was Leinstrand.
