It seems the mother of Agnes Sorel, Catherine de Maignelais, died young as Agnes was brought up by an aunt. But then that does not have to be the case, her mother might have lived much longer and perhaps Agnes (who had four brothers) was sent to her uncle and aunt who had at least two daughters.

However, Agnes had three surviving daughters.

Agnes died so young, and her daughters also were brought up by others.

Marie/Marguerite, apparently the eldest one, was sent to Pregent de Coetivy. admiral of France, already before her mother's death. Pregent died in the same year as Agnes Sorel, and Marie/Marguerite then was handed over to Pregent's brother, Olivier who then became her guardian. In 1458 Olivier, about 43 years old, asked for Marie's hand in marriage, Marie was about 12 or 13.
In November 1458 Charles VII officially acknowledge Marie as his daughter and allowed her to take the name de Valois. Marie and Olivier married 18 December 1458.

On 22 July 1461 Charles VII died, and shortly before hand, on 21 March 1461 his second daughter by Agnes Sorel, Charlotte, married Jacques de Breze. I cannot find a record that she was officially acknowledged. Would this have been done before her marriage?
Does anyone know where she was brought up? Apparently not by Olivier de Coetivy.

On 23 December 1461 the third daughter, Jeanne, married Antoine de Bueil, again I cannot find a record she was acknowledged.
And again, where would she have been brought up?

With many thanks.
