Gyda ble født i Steinkjer 1891, datter av Anders og Gina Bolstad. Hun døde antagelig ikke lang tid etter ankomst, men hadde hun noen etterkommere?

Men det jeg lurer på er:
Hun oppga formål for reisen at hun skulle besøke en venn
Nils Gullesen, North Dakota.
Hva skjedde med Gyda senere, hun døde ung er det sagt, og hun bodde vel i Usa da, muligens North Dakota. Men alder stemmer jo ikke da, siden hun kom dit i 1915, og helse ser ut til å ha vært ok.
Og for det andre, bør jeg skrive engelsk på denne søkesiden, eller leser alle her norsk?

From the immigration paper she was about to visit a friend
Nils Gullesen, Ruthland, N Dakota.
What happened to Gyda later on, she died young, it has been said, and she was living in Usa at that time, possibly in Ruthland, N Dakota. But the age does not match, as she arrived in i 1915, and the health condition seems to be ok.
I have found this site. http://www.ellisisland.org/search/viewT ... 5052030004 They might have been visiting Norway? in 1920 and have she been using her other name? which is Alette?

Margit in Minnesota looked and she found nothing about Gyda other then what has been presented on this forum. I found Nils, he was married to someone else and lives in Richland County in North Dakota from what I found. I cannot check the North Dakota Death Index, because I do not know if she married and what her surname would be? I checked everything I could and found nothing with the information that was given.

I know that you are very clever to find people, but when we don`t know if she got married it`s difficult to find her.

Gyda died soon after arrival, in tuberculosis. Is it possible to find her after all. I,m not sure she reached her destination.
