Thelma Mae Bolt Kirkland of Lenoir City passed away Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Park West Medical Center.
Thelma was a member of Hensley's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. She worked in the Lenoir City Hosiery Mill for several years before becoming a full-time devoted wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Henry Kirkland; parents Oscar and Lora Bolt; sisters Iona Pruitt and June Bolt and brother Robert Oscar Bolt Jr.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Wanda Sue and Hans G. Vige of Jacksonville, Fla., and Glenda Sharlene and Roger C. Wolfe of Farragut; grandchildren Nancy and Jeff Burkett of Media, Penn.; Hans "Gus" and Donna Vige and Oscar Wayne Vige of Jacksonville, Daren and Kristen Wolfe of Charleston, S.C.; great-granddaughter Sophie Elise Wolfe; sister Wanda Christine Tramell of Michigan; brothers and sisters-in-law Wayne and Pauline Bolt of Maryville and Harry L. "Bud" and Ruth Bolt of Michigan; several nieces, nephews and numerous family members and friends.
The family expresses their deep gratitude to the wonderful staff at Parkwest Hospital. The family received friends from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday with funeral services following at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel in Lenoir City. Elder Charles Rick Wiggins officiated.
