Takk for mange tilbakemeldinger, eksakt fødselsdato er 30 oktober 1954, han giftet seg med Anne Madsie Madsdatter, hun døde i barsel og han emigrerte da til USA. Han etterlot seg 3 barn i Norge, Lovise født 1884, Nicolai Martin født 1885, og Andreas født 1887. Anne Madsie døde i barsel med Andreas, barna ble da satt bort og han emigrerte. Nicolai Martin er min oldefar.

Såvidt jeg kan se av emigrasjonen i Norge reiste han med America Line 1 mai 1889 fra Bergen, antagentligvis til Hull og derfra videre til Philadelphia.
