I used to be able to download the census from the archives but since they have changed I cn no longer do this.Is there anywhere I can download them as a pdf

The same change annoyed me, but if you can view it, you can download it (with more or less effort . The scanned census cards that I have looked at, display as inlined images, which means that I can use the browser's «save image as ...» function (from the context (right click) menu).
