Generations Family Tree

Legg inn av JJupar » 17. desember 2004 kl. 15.45

Hi

I hope someone can help me. I have Generations Family tree and have been
using it very efficiently on my computer with Millenium Edition.

I have now had to have a new computer with Windows XP installed. I have
managed to instally Sierra Easy Tree and all contents onto the the new Computer
but the Snap Shot SE programme won't work.

As I have got one part of the same programme installed why cannot I get the
other part to work. Surely they are both on the same programme. If there
had been a problem I would have thought that none of it would work.

Can anyone advice me how to do it.

Many Thanks

Happy christmas

Judy.

Unfortunately the Snapshot SE program is not compatible with Windows
XP. Sierra no longer provides any support for this product ;-(

You are mistaken that this is the same as the genealogy program. The
genealogy part consists of the Easytree and Easychart program. The
Snapshot graphics program is completely seperate. The various
database programs are also seperate. They are only linked via the
Generations graphical shell, which serves to launch the different
programs.

When Generations separated from Reunion, it's progression slowed
considerably. Those once separate parts have been included in Reunion
for several versions now.

Hi

Thanks to everyone who replied. I have a friend coming to stay and she is
a computer whizz so we shall go out and select a new programme and transfer the
lot.

Happy Christmas to all
