Gransherred, Gransherad

I have been trying to find the baptism of Osten Holjesen (Helgesen) who is said to be born in Gransherred according to the 1865 census (he is 66 on his next birthday). Can't find records for Gransherad for 1801 census but believe it should be under Hjartdal. The only one that makes sense is a Osten Halvorsen but.....
In 1865 census, Osten lives at Lillebuen. His son, Holje also lives there. The record shows:
Anm. Gransherred - Jondalen hører i Liste- og Skole- Væsenet til Kongsberg; i Tinglauget er det forenet med Gransherred. H Aars
Can anyone tell me what that means?
Later on his grandson's baptism is found under Kongsberg, Buskerud records but still Lillebuen (are these the same place or did the family move to a different place with the same farm name?)
Any assistance with the farm Lillebuen in Gransherred or Kongsberg would be appreciated.

The farm Buen and Lillebuen in Jondalen, Gransherad, is quite close to Kongsberg, and people living there often worked in Kongsberg and went to the church there.

In 1801 Gransherad belonged to Hjartdal, and I believe you find the family here: http://digitalarkivet.no/cgi-win/webcen ... 1889#nedre. Østen is probably born a year or two later. The age listed in the census is often incorrect.

Try to search the church records for Kongsberg, Flesberg or Hjartdal after 1801.

i have also a Øystein Høljesson Lillebuen in my family line and would like any info on him my Øystein married margit anunsdatter 8 march 1767 in hiaerdahl and born in 1741 dont know when had son helje Østensen who married thore olsdatter .they had a son named ole heljesen and ole is my 4th great grand-father he was born in 1792 an married kari gulbrandsdatter and they were married in kongsberg in 1819



i have more and any info that i can add would be helpful

Thank you for all the information. I have been taking a break from the genealogy part of my life and came back just now. I see I am a couple of years behind!
I know the date referred to is not February and I am trying to find a calendar of the church days, i.e. Rogate, Exudi. I have a booklet from the Mormons about this and need to find it again.
