But he is leaving for Kr.a (Kristiania/Oslo), not America.

Yes they grew up together, BUT I would not accept the Thorvald/Torvald found in Michigan as your Thorvald/Torvald without more information.
There is not enough information to substantiate that this is the correct person. You need to find an obituary, death certificate or Church Records which state this person in Michigan was born in Eidsvold in 1863 to the parents you have listed in your original request.

I understand what you mean but if we for example find the marriage of Torvald it might be addressed where he came from or the name of his mother.

The way I see it no is that the family of Ole is OK documented?

A woman who Dina is probably harder to look for. She may also have changed the surname to HAUGEN as a family branch in Norway did and Ole`s family did
or by marriage started to use the husband's surname.
