Ultimate Family Tree export to another application

Is it possible to take the information stored in Ultimate Family tree
and import it into a new application? This version does not work with
XP and I have not been able to find an upgrade. Any help would be
appreciated.

There is no upgrade - "On May 19, 2000, termination of further
development of UFT was announced."[1] The last version was 3.1.

The Master Genealogist (TMG; http://www.whollygenes.com/) will read UFT
files directly: http://www.whollygenes.com/tmggenbridge.htm I have no
experience of doing the import, but there a good number of former UFT
users on the TMG mailing list at rootsweb, and quite a bit of information
available about making the move.

UFT 3.1 seems to work fine for me on XP. What version are you using? I am

using XP Pro.
Did you invoke XP compatibility option?

What version of UFT are you using?

TMG or Legacy might be your best choices for a transfer that will preserve
almost all
of your data.

I managed to get UFT v2.7 running under Windows XP but only after installing
the "special patch." Can't remember where I got the patch but here is a
