Haftor gifter seg i Agdenes 1.12.1901 med Elen Johanna Olausdatter Sunde. De får en sønn, Aksel Haftorsen f. 24.06.1901 før de gifter seg. I 1910 er han bortsatt til forpleining hos Elens foreldre. 24.06.1903 får de sønnen Martin Peder, døpt i Agdenes 24.08.1903. Bortsett fra eldste sønn, finner jeg ikke de andre i 1910. Er det noen som kjenner til deres historie?

Hei, så fint å få hjelp. De byttet jo etternavn stadig vekk, så de er ikke lette å finne. Tror nok det er henne, men ser at hun har byttet bosted siden han dro i 1905.

I think I found the family!!
The name is indexed (spelled) wrong in the 1920 Oregon, Clatsop co, Astoria census:
"Hafte Ramweck" age 45 immigrated 1905..he is a salmon fisherman
wife Ellen, age 43 immigrated 1910
children:
Axel 18 (immigrated 1911), Martin 16(immigrated 1919, Jennie 8 and Henry 2.
The last 2 children were born in Oregon.

I used Heritage Quest for the census search, but I am sure someone with Ancestry can find this same information.

Clatsop co, Astoria Oregon:
name indexed as "Hofter Paulseon"(looks like Paulson in the actual census)..age 36, immigrated 1905...he is alone...and is a fisherman...Perhaps his family has not yet arrived.

I am sure you found the right folks. Haftor took the trip alone and then his wife and son followed. Later their second son, called both Axel and Olof went to Canada with Elen's brother. Thank you for your help!

Yes, it is fun to solve these puzzles!..
I was happy when I saw the name "ramweck"..I thought it was a good possibility.
I searched for Haftor based on his age (that he was in his 40s in 1920)..and that he was living in Astoria..so all the information provided helped!!..It was especially helpful that Tove found that Ellen went to Astoria...
