Am I correct in thinking that Sande, Sandar and Sandeherred are one and the same place?
If so, is there any information on the Fevang farm that is available?
I am looking for ancestral/gard info on Antoni Jacobsen Fevang b. ~1839, his wife, Maren Sybille Helgesdatter from Stokke and their daughter Karen Margrete born, 1868. I have found the marriage of Antoni and Maren, the birth of Karen Margrete.

Hi,

Sandar (until 1932 named Sandeherred) is a former municipality in Vestfold county, Norway.
Sandar was established as a municipality January 1, 1838. It was merged with Sandefjord January 1, 1968.
Sandar was, basically, the rural part of the current municipality, although it had its share of industry, too, mostly located close to the former border between the two municipalities. Thus many famous corporations now associated with Sandefjord had their origins in Sandar, e.g. Jotun, Framnæs Mekaniske Værksted and Sandar Fabrikker (a chemical plant dedicated to refining whale oil).
With the merger, the combined district took the name of the much smaller town and, effectively, made Sandar disappear from history

The municipality (originally the parish) was named after the old farm Sande (Norse Sandar), since the first church was built here. The name is the plural form of sandr m 'sand; area with sandy soil'.
The municipality, established 1838, was named Sandeherred 'the herred (rural district, municipality) of Sande'.

I did a quick search at familysearch.org and children of Antoni Jacobsen and Maren Sibylle Helgesdatter are baptized in Sandar parish.

This family is briefly mentioned on p. 329 (Fevang nordre farm) in Sandar (Sandeherred) bygdebok, and further info is listed on p.343-344 (Hvataaker farm).

Thank you all for your links. I had the 1865 and 1875 but not 1900 census info. I have looked on the scanned parish records and found baptisms and confirmations for all.
I was trying to find the info at familysearch but I'm not having much success. If you have a link, I would appreciate it.

Thanks for the link. I am looking for info on this family/farm.
That link works and did find his baptism at familysearch but can't figure out how to get his children's baptism.
I input Antoni Jacobsen Sande but just saw his with no link to other family members.
It is a different layout than what I had used before. I will continue to look there.

Hi.
The farm "Fevang" is in todays Sandefjord I think. Near by the Sandefjord Lufthavn Torp (airport). You can find it by using Google Earth. May be the family took the farms name Fevang as surname? You can also use 1881.no to search for the name.

I went to the library and here is what the "bygdebok" says about the farm Fevang nordre.
Anthoni Jakobsen b. 1839 d. 1908, wife Maren Sybille Helgesdatter, from Rise i Skjee, b. 1840 d. 1909. Children:
Jakob b. 1864 d. 1939, married to Lena Larsen Lingelem b. 1877 d. 1921.
Søren Antonisen (Jakobsen) b. 1866, wife Severine Sørensen born in Stokke. They emigrated about 1900.
Karen b. 1868 d. 1931, husband Johan Lefsrød. They emigrated about 1890.
Helene Marie b. 11871, husband Olaf Hansen, farmer on Hotvedt 1900 - 1909, and emigrated.
Hanna Mathilde b. 1876 d. 1971, husband Kristian Hansen Rørkoll.
Gunhild Marie b. 1881, emigrated til Canada together with Helene and Olaf in 1910, and there she got married to Kristian Anholt.
Hans Anton b. 1885, d. 1969, wife Nicoline Olsen, Stokke. They moved to Rørkoll in 1913.
From 1912 to 1933 Jakob had the farm alone and in 1933 a nephew, Osvald Vataker, b. 1895, took over the farm.
In 1964 the farm was taken over by a nephew of Osvald.
