Trenger hjelp til å finne ut hva som hendte med / hvor det ble av denne personen og
hennes familie.

Hun er født 6/8- 1817, døpt 31/8.
Gifter seg 16/4- 1849 med Johan ( John ) Arntsen ( Vinge ) f. 26/9-1829

De får følgende barn: Elen f. 1848 døde 1849, Anne Lisbeth f. 1851, Ole f. 1854, Arnt f.1856,Kristoffer f.1858 ? ( døde tidlig, finner ikke fødsel/ død ), Kristoffer 1859 døde i Dakota, USA,Johan Petter f. 1860 og Ottar f.1864.

Finner Arnts konfirmasjon i 1871, deretter forsvinner familien for meg.

Familien kan ha emigrert da jeg har funnet en Christopher Johnson som døde i N.Dakota i 1885 født på samme dag som overnevnte Kristoffer. Petrikka hadde også en sønn utenfor ekteskapet som bosatte seg i Dakota.

Finner ikke konfirmasjonene til de 3 siste barna, dødsfall på barn/foreldre, emigrasjonen og eller utflytting fra Stjørdal.

dukket opp i Dakota.

Fant konfirmasjonen til Otte i Bakke kirke, 4/4-1880, men ikke for Johan Petter og

Christopher.

Thanks for your interest.

Yes, I am looking for them in the US as well, although I am not sure who went over as I
can not find their emigration.

I have found a headstone for a Christoffer Johnson with the correct day of birth, so I am
pretty sure it is the right one. He died in Hunter, Cass county Jan. 11-1886.

Arnt Johnson married in Trondheim and stayed here, and their father died in Trondheim
so no emigration on those two.

Petrikka had a son with another guy before marrying, he lived first in Cass and then in the Bottineau area, Even Johnson is his name, I just mention him because they could have settled close to him.
This guy and all his decendants I have almost full control over so it is not nessesary to look for information on him.

Johns brother Rasmus had also 2 children that emigrated, Julius Arntsen born 09.12.1884,
he emigreted 1904, and visited here 1914 it says Fargo, N.Dakota for his homeplace.

His sister Johanna I do not know a thing about, in the deathprotocols to her father it
says only that she had died in the US before 1926 leaving behind many children, but since
I have not found the marriage it will be almost impossible to find her.

OK...I think I found Julius Arntson, age 25, single, living in Traill County, Galesburg Twp in 1910 North Dakota census..he is working as a hired man on the farm of Hans Smith (a Swede)...immigration for Julius is recorded as 1904.

Then in 1920...I wonder if this is him...but uncertain...
Julius Arnseth?? age 35, owns a farm in Mahnomen county, Gregory twp, Minnesota...immigration year not recorded (says "unknown")...married to Inga, age 29...she was born in North Dakota(her parents were Norwegian)...they have 2 boys: Norman age 4 and Harlen age 2? months...

Yes, it is him in Galesburg for sure, another " helper " sent me the ships manifest from
1914 and he is still in Galesburg. Also his passportapplication from 1922 seem to say
Triall county, North Dakota.

The Minnesota one I think is wrong.

He is still at the same township (Galesburg) in 1920...I am pretty sure this is your "Julius":
Ralph (!!!) Arntson age 37, immigration 1904.
He is working on the farm of Oluf Moe (age 82) and Oluf's wife Anna.
I think the census says "Ralph" is a niece to Oluf...but they must have meant to write nephew...since it says Ralph is male...does that make sense to you, that Ralph/Julius is a nephew to Oluf???

Ralph is married...and listed below his name is Clara Arntson...so I guess that is his wife...they are showing the relationship to Oluf in the census...so it says Clara is a servant (rather than listing her as Ralph's wife...are you following this????)

The last person in this household is Carl Berg, age 33??...single, immigrated 1905, and is a cousin (not sure to whom he is a cousin...)

How does this sound?

Perhaps I was wrong about Ralph Arntson that I found in the 1920 census...he may not be your "Julius"...
I found 2 natualization records in the NDSU data base...
one is for Julius Arntson, Jan 25, 1911 in Traill county, then there is one for Ralph Arntson on June 17, 1918, in Triall co. (it is the "1st petition" for each man...telling me they are 2 different people).

Har fremdeles 2 av barna som mulig bosatt i Stjørdal og omegn da jeg ikke finner spor av

dem i Trondheim.

1) Anne Lisbet, Jonsen, Vinge født 18.08.1851 og Ole Jonsen Vinge f. 07.01.1854

Anne Lisbets konfirmeres i 1866 og Ole i 1871. Resten av familien ser ut til å flytte til

Trondheim i 1872/73. Det er vel rimelig å anta at de er i tjeneste i Stjørdal med omegn

i 1875. Anne Lisbet muligens i Aasen ved sin konfirmasjonen.

Oluf Moe (a.k.a. Oluf Jonsen Vuddumoen; 1837-1929) was born in Åsen (Bygdebok for Åsen, vol. 5, p. 462). Married 1865 to Anne Lorine Arntsdatter Vinnan/Velvangsplass (1844-1925), from Skatval. As far as I can understand from Stjørdalsboka (vol. 4, p. 749 and 752), Anne Lorine was a sister of Jon/Johan Arntsen. According to the bygdebook she was married to a Kaspar, but this has to be wrong (churchrecord of marriage states she's Oluf's wife).

Oluf and Anne lived in Åsen for some time, later in Stjørdal. Emigrated together with three sons in 1884, heading for Hunter, Traill Co. They soon went to Galesburg, Traill Co, where his mother and sister had settled down a short time before. Oluf and Anne were farmers in Galesburg for many years.

Carl Berg was a relative of Oluf. Carl's father, Ole Karstensen, was Oluf's cousin.

Hei Arne,

Takk for god hjelp, dette var veldig avklarende. Jeg hadde Anne Lorine gift med en
Oluf Jonsen, Stenen men klarte aldri å koble denne med Oluf Moe i N.Dakota.
De tidligere nevnte Julius og Rolf jobbet begge for Oluf Moe da de kom over til USA.

Ja, du har selvsagt rett mht hvem Anne Lorine var gift med, hun giftet seg med Oluf i aug. 1865.
