Sivert reiste til USA i 1929 etter det jeg har funnet. Han giftet seg med Emma og de fikk Karl og Arne. Mener jeg har funnet Arne (Arnie Swnsen) på noen nettsider men klarer ikke finne noe mer enn at de var bosatt i New Jersey. Arne skal være født omtrent rundt 1940 + -.
Noen som kan klare å finne ut om han fremdeles er i live og eventuelt hvordan få fatt i han ? Han har slekt her i Norge som etterlyser ham og jeg hjelper til.

Have you tried to search for Sivert in the SSDI? Need to know what name he used "over here"... SSDI might tell us where he lived at the time of his death...and if he died in NJ....
How did you spell Arnie's last name?...Swendson or Swenson/Swensen? Exact spelling is important...

Hi, thanks for fast response.
I know that Arne Swensen, also called Arnie Swensen when he was drag racing. He would be born around 1940 in USA and his fathers name was Sivert Svendsen born 1902 in Norway. Sivert and his wife Emma (b.1895) went to USA November 1929. Arne also have a brother named Karl, born 1935.
As far as I know they settled in New Jersey.

Arne K. Swensen

Mr. Swensen, 41, of Milltown, formerly of North Brunswick, died July 18, 2007, at home. Surviving are his parents, Muriel and Arne Swensen of North Brunswick; a brother, Michael Swensen, also of North Brunswick; and his maternal grandparents, Irene and Emmet Lounsbury of Virginia. Cremation was private. A gathering of friends and relatives took place at Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. A service was held at the funeral home.
