Phillip E. Bucher, 79, resident of Crooked Lake, Wis., formerly of Northbrook, Ill., died Saturday, Oct. 30, at his home. He was born Sept. 22, 1955, in Winnetka, Ill. He served in the Army Air Corp. He married Lila Cunningham in 1949 and she preceded him in death in 1972. Phillip married Mary Anne “Anna” Sutherland Jan. 10, 1974, in Waukegan, Ill. The couple resided in Northbrook, Ill., retired and moved to Crooked Lake.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Anne “Anna”;
one son, Phillip Jr. (Nancy), Boise, Idaho;
two daughters,
Beverly (Todd) Hendrix, Mundelein, Ill.;
Jackie (Rev. Karl) Mc Bride, Phoenix;

Services were held at the Hanekamp Funeral Home, Northbrook, Ill, Monday, Nov 1, 2004.

Annie Bucher

Annie Bucher, 102, of Northbrook, and a longtime resident of Winnetka, died Jan. 25 in Whitehall North nursing home, Deerfield.

Mrs. Bucher was born Dec. 11, 1900 in Vasstrand, Norway.

Survivors include a son, Phillip; a daughter, Eleanor Runnfeldt; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bucher was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Herman; two sisters, Alice Meier and Jenny Roth; and a brother, Leif Jensen.

Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie. Memorial donations may be made to Children's Memorial Hospital, 75 Remittance Drive, Suite 75587, Chicago IL 60675-5587.
