Kristine Ols. Reitan født 02.03.1880 på Inderøy emigrerer fra Trondheim den 25.04.1903. Hun drar til Ashland Wisc.
Fire år senere drar søsteren Olaug Ols. Reitan født 07.11. 1885 på Inderøy. Hun emigrerer fra Trondheim 29.08.1907. Hennes bestemmelses sted er Iron River Wisc.

Det eneste jeg vet om disse to etter at de dro, er fra dødsfalls meldingene fra Inderøy når far dør i 1944. Da står Kristine med etternavnet Moksnes, søsteren har etternavnet Follan ? og er bosatt i Duluth.

Er det noen som kan ha opplysninger om disse to sine liv etter at de forlot Norge?

there is no husband living with her...but it says she is married (since about 1904).
She has 3 children: Jacob age 4, Myrtle age 2 and Torleaf age 6 months.
Her immigration year is listed as 1903.

Hei Inger and Margit!
I wonder about the family in Walworth co..this county is located south in Wisconsin, near Milwaukee.
In the emigration record for Kristine, she is supposed to be headed to Ashland, Wisconsin in 1903...I do understand the "reisemål" is not always were the person ends up settling..
Also in the Walworth censuses for 1910 and 1920, it says Christine immigrated in 1907...and her age seems to be a bit off...(born about 1875)...

So I am wondering is the Christina Moxness in the 1910 WI Bayfield County, Iron River census still a possible candidate...she is age 30 (b about 1880)...
It is reasonable for a "k" in Norwegian to become an "x"...Moksnes to Moxness..
There are 2 other families with the last name Moxness living in the Iron River, Bayfield county area in 1910...(Ole and Hans Moxness...but they are married and have their own families)...

Just a few thoughts...
