I am looking for this person who was married to Kristine Nilsen (b. 1861) according to the baptism of their son, Thorvald Anfin Haakensen in 1886 in Ostre Baerum. Thorvald was born at Dahli in Baerum on 7 Jan 1886.
He is confirmed in Vestre Baerum in 1900. I think I have found Thorvald in 1900 census in Baerum but can't seem to find his parents. They are said to have gone to America but I don't know when. Thorvald went in Aug, 1910 to America and it says in the landing document that he was going to his father's, Theodor Haakensen, place in Minnesota.
Any assistance that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
If I want to look up information on the census of 1865 for Baerum, do I look up under Akerhus?

I found Theodor Haakens. 10 living with his parents at Knabberud in Ostre Baerum. But I still can't find him leaving Norway. Suggestions?
