Ida Walton, f.. ca. 1883 i Nebraska bodde i 1920 i Los Angeles, Assembly District 64 (bilde 987?). Det er mulig at det er samme Ida Walton som også er nevnt som hjemmehørende i Pierce co., Nebraska i 1920-tellingen. I 1910 bodde sistnevnte familie i Cedar co., Nebraska. Er det noen som har tilgang til Ancestry som kan sende meg kopi av disse tre bildene fra US census?

Re: Ida Walton - US census 1920
Thank you very much, Margit, for the image you sent me off list!
Any additional information about Ida Walton's family background will be much appreciated.
Her daughter, Gladys Walton, was married to Henry Herbel. They lived in Chicago and had six children. Information about the Herbel family is also of great interest.
Regards,
Elin

Gladys Walton Dead; Silent-Film Actress, 90
Published: November 23, 1993
Gladys Walton, a silent-film actress who disappeared from the screen in 1925, ending what she called the "movie phase" of her life, died on Nov. 15 at a nursing home here. She was 90.
The cause was cancer, said her son Robert Herbel.
Once called the darling of the five-reelers, Miss Walton made 38 silent films for Universal Studios between 1919 and 1925, including "Secondhand Rose," "Rich Girl Poor Girl," "Pink Tights," "Risky Business" and "Playing With Fire."
But after appearing in "The Sky Raider" and "Little Girl in a Big City" in 1925, Miss Walton gave up films. She explained in a 1981 interview that "I ran off and married and moved to Chicago and had six kids."
In addition to her son Robert, of Garden Grove, Calif., she is survived by three daughters, Mary Jane Williamson of Costa Mesa, Calif., Janice Meyers of Morro Bay and Gloria Eberhardt of Idaho, and two other sons, John Herbel of Fallbrook, Calif., and Edward Herbel of New York City.

Re: Ida Walton - US census 1920
Thank you very much, Margit, for Henry's obit and data on his children and wife.
In the 1920 census, Gladys's father was said to be from England and her mother was from Nebraska. To possibly rule out the family of Dave Walton living in Pierce co. Nebraska in 1920 and Cedar co. Nebraska in 1910 (when he was 41 and 32 years old, respectively), I would very much appreciate copies of these two census images.
Regards,
Elin
