Was Severin Julius s. born in Froya?// He and my father; Jens Olaf Johannessen; were very close friends. // My father was born " lived at the farm Bustvik until he emigrated to Duluth, MN. about the same year as Severin.

You do not state why you believe Severin to be from Frøya. However theres a good candidate for him living there in 1900 at Flatval.

From the emigrant lists one will find him leaving Norway 3 times (1906, 1913 and 1921). The first time unmarried, then married (probably travelling with his wife Signe b.1893) and finally as a widower. In 1906 he was set for Quebec, Canada. In 1913 and 1921 the destination was Duluth.
