FTM 2006 GEDCOM Export

A user of FTM 2006 has been having GEDCOM export problems in that the GEDCOM
file is being generated with the full tag names instead of the more common
abbreviated tags, e.g. "INDIVIDUAL" instead of "INDI". She says that there
is no option for "Abbreviated Tags", which has always been there in earlier
versions. I find this strange, as the abbreviated tags are pretty much the
standard, and some programs only support that format.

Can anyone confirm this behavior? Thanks.

No. It works just as it always has. Select File | Entire file.
This brings up the New Family File dialog; select Gedcom from the Save as
type dropdown list; put in a file name; Save. This gets you to the Export
to Gedcom dialog box where [X] Abbreviate tags is at the bottom.

that means that the program is not usin gedcom 5.5 and will give problem to all that reaceive gedcom-file from that program.

always use "temple ready" as default
