The book does not say when Magnus left for England. He did military service 1896-7 but is difficult to trace afterwards. As a rule he is difficult to pin down.

Some of the information is very good. The only thing I disagree with is the part I need most concerning Hans and Erikka namely that Magnus is alledged to have had a widow.

He did have a widow in Wales called Margaret Anne or Anne Margaret in Norway. I don't know where his info came from?? Who did ...

I still find this very confusing. The text implies that Magnus left a widow which is strange.

Hilmar Eriksen's book of 1962 describes the children of Hans Olai Mikkelsen and Erika Pedersdatter as being 15 in number 5 adopted.

One of the real sons was Magnus Bertin Hansen with this entry

This is her - strangely she has changed her name to Anne Margaret rather than Margaret Anne. This child was named after her. Can you find any more??

Good genealogists have completely failed to find any trace of anna bredvold who emigrated in 1896. She literally disappears in 1896 - can anyone solve the puzzle. Relevant information is here:

That's the last official record of Olivia. Where she goes then is anybody's guess. Your answers in Norwegian are very good - they help me to learn the language,
