I have the following in my family:

1 Kari Knutsdatter Ullsak. Born in 1788 in Hemsedal, Buskerud, Norway. Christened on 3 Aug 1788 in Nes, Buskerud, Norway. Kari died in Nord Aurdal, Oppland, Norway, in 1844; she was 56.

On 19 Jun 1808 when Kari was 20, she married Peder Andrissen Rye in Nord Aurdal, Oppland, Norway.

I am looking for the correct parents for her as she is my GGG Grandmother.

Kari's parents are listed as Knud and Birgit Ulsager - no patronyms mentioned.

Maybe this could be the right family?

Knud (Olsen) and Bergit (Olsdatter), living at Ulsager with their children. Two named Kari (!), the oldest one must be your Kari, I think.

Takk. I saw them and feel it is the correct family, but I would like to know who the parents of Knud Olsen and Bergit Olsdatter are. I have the Hemsedal Bygdebok, but cannot seem to clearly see who the parents are. I would like to know if Knud's family goes back to Løkji.
