I am looking for the marriage information for:

Knut Nilssen Sekkingstad, born 1838 in Sund
Inger Halvorsdatter, born 1858 in Fjell

They had at least two children born at Sekkingstad, Nils Olai - born 28 Nov 1886 and Oline Larsine - born 2 March 1885. A daughter, Anna, was born 1883 at Askoey.

Can anyone tell me when the parents married? Does anyone have more information about this family?

This seems incorrect. Anna Kristina was baptised at Laksevåg church, and the churchbook tells that they lived in Laksevåg. She was born 12 jan 1884 and baptised 24 feb. Nr 8 at the bottom half of this page: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?i ... x_side=-57
One can also say that Laksevåg was divided from Askøy just few years earlier.
They must have moved back to Sekkingstad, and then after a little time moved to Bergen, where they are to be found in census 1900: http://digitalarkivet.no/cgi-win/WebCen ... 39153#ovre
At this time they had left the church and became Metodist. I can also tell that Inger was nr 4 of 11 siblings.
But I wonder if we are relatives, as Inger Halvorsdatter was a cousin of my great grandmother. Can you tell?
