i am looking for the folks of lars martin westwick b-feb 1882 fitger near stavangar, bergen norway. i think he married before he left norway. i am looking for his folk's emigration date, and any information on his wife who i don't know.

Hello!

I can not find any Lars Martin (or Lars) Westick born 1882 in Fitjar bygdebok.
I can not find him in 1900 census for Fitjar, in confirmation register for Fitjar nor in emigrants from Fitjar over Bergen

Cold it be that he came from Vestvik on Bømlo or Sveio.
This is not so far from Fitjar, between Bergen and Stavanger.

Lars Nilson Vestvik (1810-1887) married to Martha Larsd. Mehammer, Stord (1816-1903).

Fitjar bygdebok has information about this family back to 1700.
(Lars Martin's great great grandfather, Lars Nilson, came from Haalandsdalen to Fitjar about 1754.
He married the widdow after the earlier owner of Vestvik.
