Mikkel Erikssen Gunnarsrød

I am looking for information about the death of Mikkel Erikssen Gunnarsrød, born 23 August 1820 in Sauda to Erik Mikkelssen Gunnarsrød and Eli Andersdatter.

In 1858, he married Marta Olsdatter Teig. They had two children: Eli, born 16 November 1858, and Erick, born 30 July 1860.

Then Mikkel disappears. The 1865 census identifies Marta as a widow. She and her two children are living at Teig with Marta's parents, grandmother, and two unmarried brothers:

Probably, then, Mikkel died between 1860 and 1865, but I have not been able to find a record of his death in the scanned ministerialbok pages for Sauda.

I would like to find some record of what happened to him and when.
