i need some help my grandmother and grandfather were married in notodden in 1932

and my dad was born in 1939 in sandefjord and i know he had brothers and sisters

greta karin born in notodden 20 june 1932

and i know there was olaf, ove,gerhardt,gustav,and odd-bjorn before my dad

but i dont know anything else and as the records dont cover periods between 1932 -1939 in births i was wondering if there was anywhere i could email or write to find out any information on my dads brothers.My dad is no longer alive and hardly spoke of his brothers or his dad much. I think some could be alive still as dad did visit norway in 2000 just before he passed away

my dads name was william harry nilsen

if anybody can help for if any of them are still alive i may be able to contact them

Hello Ole Vidar! You could try to contact the local newspapers in Notodden, Kongsberg and Sandefjord, and ask if they can help you finding your relatives. Small, local newspapers in Norway adore to do a job like this, it makes a good story. And it is not unlikely that someone in the area might remember your folks!

A little strange to write this letter. even though I knew I had relatives in Australia. The point is that a family researcher called me, and saw that he had conceived an inquiry on this notodden. Therefore, this letter:)
All information is correct, and your father, William was here on a visit in 2000. He lived with my mother, your aunt, Gretha karin, and your uncle Leif Arne.
I do / did he have any children, but I never heard any names, but uncles know about you. no one has awning me.
Here at notodden you have 7 cousins​​, and one in Mo i Rana, northern Norway, and your cousin has a total of 10 children.
