Min tipp-oldefar Knud Mathias Olsen Axelvold fikk en pike (Elen Anna født 1887) før han utvandret til Amerika. Jeg har funnet emigrasjonen her:

På den ovennevnte siden står det en annen person: Johanne H Rækdal f 1859 fra samme plass. Det er en Johanne Hansdatter Rekdal døpt 1860, omtalt i Bygdebok for Vestnes, Fiksdal sogn. Der står det videre at hun ble gift med en fra Otrøya (Midsund), kom på en avsides farm i Dakota og fikk barn der.

Kan noen hjelpe meg å finne ut om det er det som skjer med min tipp-oldefar Knud Mathias Olsen Axelvold, - at han blir gift med Johanne og får barn med henne? Evt. tips til søkemotor i Amerika?

Can anyone help me find Knud Mathias Olsen Axelvold parents?

It seems like they emigrated to Canada, Quebec..

Their name were: (Ole) Mathias Olsen Ræknes (Reknes) born 1828 and wife Marit Olsen Ræknes (Reknes) born 1828, as you can see in the link belove.
They had a son Ole Andreas Mathiassen born 1876. (and he is a younger brother of Knud Mathias.)
