Need help finding the passenger list including, Janne Svensson who immigrated to the US in 1882 with his wife, Lotta Carlsdotter. He was born 07 July 1858 Vestergotland Ottum Sweden. He changed his name to John Halquist here in the US. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Best bet for Swedish genealogy probably is the web forum of the Swedish
genealogist association. This newsgroup is pretty much dormant - not much
traffic.

Yes I know. I tend to prefer mailing lists to Anbytarforum though as

they're easier to keep track of. The thread system of Anbytarforum is
pretty non-existant, making it hard to keep track.
And the more the merrier, right?
