Looking for parents of Ole Knuden from Slemdal

Hi. I am looking for the parents of Ole Knudsen. He was born in Slemdal in 1818 and married Maren Abrehamsdatter on 18 Aug 1839. His son was Isak Olsen born on 4 Aug 1849. I am not absolutely sure that Ole Knudsen's parents are from Slemdal but...

Siljan parish was under Eidanger up to 1847, when is came under Gjerpen parish up to 1856, when Siljan became "independante"
The old name of Siljan was Slemdal. Just to show where to look in "Digitalarkivet"

I have still had no luck with tracking Ole Knutsen's parents . All I know is that he was born in Slemdal in 1818 and married Maren Abrehamsdatter in 1839.

Would his father be Knutsen (or Knudsen too) or have the surname Knut (or Knud)?

Here is the marriage in the churchbook [nr. 9]:

Kildeinformasjon: Telemark fylke, Siljan, Ministerialbok nr. 1 (1831-1870), Ekteviede 1839, side 214.

It says that Ole Knudsen was born in Rødningen [in Siljan], he was 21 years old at the time of the marriage, and his father's name is Knud Andersen.

I am struggling with the way names change from parent to child. Would the father of Anders Olsen born in 1769 in Ejdanger be Ole xxxxx? And would the father of Karen Jonsdatter born in 1765 in Ejdanger be Jon xxxxx?
