Osten Helgesen (Holjesen)

I found Osten's confirmation on 20 Apr 1817 in Kongsberg which showed that he 16 and was baptised on 7 Apr 1801. I went to the records for baptism but there is nothing to be found on 7 Apr 1801. I don't believe that 7 Apr 1801 was a Sunday but that may not mean anything. Any idea where to look?
Also if he was baptised then, why wouldn't he be on the 1801 census records?
Any advice in these questions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I should have known. This has been somewhat difficult to follow as the families have been registered in Gransherred in the censi (1801, 1865, 1900) and in Kongsberg Kirke records for births, confirmations, marriage after 1815. I guess I need to look for the siblings and marriage of Osten's parents in Hjartdal (Hierdal).
I believe that the bapstimal record shows he was born on 9 Mar 1801 and baptised on 7 Apr.
At the bottom of the record it shows 11 Apr which I believe is just another date that the priest worked. What did he do that day??

Okay, I forgot the most important question. If Osten is born in March, why wouldn't he be in the census of 1801 with his parents and brother/sister at Buem?

I believe the date of the census was 1 Feb 1801.
