Help, need address of Catholic Apostolic Church in Drammen

My wife's ancestors were dissenters in the Catholic Apostolic Church in Drammen during the 1880s. We will be in Norway this coming year and wish to visit the church if the building is still standing. I realize that the Catholic Apostolic Church died out in the early 1900s. I appreciate any help you can give me on the current address of this church building.

Hi,
Here is some picture of the Old Catholic church that was located on the same place as the new church is located. The old church was relocated and now functions as a chapel in Åssiden parish.

Well, I guess I just revealed my lack of knowledge of Catholicism. The wooden log church is the only Catholic Church I’ve seen in Drammen.
Thus, I did a search and found one Norwegian article, translated by me:

The Catholic Apostolic Church

The Catholic Apostolic Church originated from England, with parishes in Norway from 1877. Glossolalia (speaking in tongues) and the anticipation of the ’Day of Judgment’ were central elements in the evangelism.
More than 700 members were registered in the church’s days of glory, the period 1900 to 1915, about 350 that were located in Kristiania (Oslo).
In Norway there were 4 parishes registered, located in Kristiania (Oslo), Drammen, Larvik and Kristiansand. The parishes in Kristiania (Oslo) and Drammen were established in 1877, while the church books of Larvik started in 1888 and the one in Kristiansand in 1894.
The Kristiania (Oslo) parish build their own church in Thor Olsens gate 9, and was inaugurated in 1891. This church is now a part of the Greek-orthodox parish and named ’Maria Bebudelses kirke’.
The Catholic Apostolic Church perished in the 1920’ and 1930’. The church books of the Drammen parish ends as soon as in 1899, in Larvik in 1933, Kristiania in 1937 and Kristiansand in 1939. There could have been some activity in the different parishes for a few more years, but there is strong indications that the parishes ceased to exist around this period.

Thank you for the information and your efforts. Since the Catholic Apostolic Church is unrelated to the well known Catholic church I will continue my efforts to determine the address of the 1880s Drammen Catholic Apostolic Church building. Please feel free to contribute your input to this effort.

QUESTION ANSWERED:

Found the answer in the 1900 and 1910 Drammen census. Alfred M. Brurberg and family were living at the church at this time which allowed one to determine the address. See 1900 Census showing church address on Torvgade
1910 Cesus clearly indicating the address as Øvre Torvgate 11

Although the mystery as been answered, unfortunately the church building is gone having been replaced by a parking lot. The church was still standing in 1950 as shown in an aerial photograph of Drammen.
