I am having a difficult time verifying a person. Halvor Knudsen Fodnes!(uses Fodness in America) leaves Nord Aurdal in 1855 but I'm not sure which baptism is his because none of the residences match between marriage and baptisms (confirmation?) and I have not that much experience with this area (distant relatives - "outlaws")
Marriage record #2 on p. 212 shows Ungkarl Halvord Knudsen Svanheldans Ejer, 23 and Pigen Eli GulbrandsDatter Fodnes Ejer, 30. Witnesses are Knudt Knudtsen Svanhelden og Juul Knudtsen Maarrud.

There is a Halvor Knudsen confirmed in 1822 at Schratsvold Annex on p. 268. Record #6 shows Halvor Knuds. Holdals Ejer is the son of Grmd Knud Halvors. og H. ?Marit? Halvorsd. He is baptised on 22 Jan 1806.

Another Halvor Knudsen is confirmed in 1819 p. 254, #15 shows Halvor Knudsen Mitstrand Eier was bapt. 13 Jan 1805 to Knud Pedersen Mitstrand Eie og Ingerie Halvorsdatter.

BUT!
In the 1801 census there is a Knudt Olsen, 47, lives with his wife Marit Julsdatter, 40 and children: Knudt, 14; Ole, 11; Jull, 8 and Ingri, 3. Also living here is Giertrud Olsdatter, Knudt’s sister, 40.
The live at Swenheld (Svenhelden?). He could have had a son, Knud, but haven't been able to find that baptism. YET? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.This makes MOST SENSE!
Second best, would the Halvor Knudsen born in 1805 as it better matches the age at his marriage but I've seen worse mistakes made by priests.
Is there bygdebok information on farms Svenhelden, (Mid)Stand or Holdahl? Or Riste where Halvord's children were born. Fodness which is his wife's baptismal residence.
