hi arnfinn,
can you line me up with others who are looking for the same families i am? others who understand english that could help me out? my norwegien is not very good either is my english. i just have had this bug to find long lost family lines.

You have misunderstood. This is an open debate forum, everybod can read what is written here (before I wrote this, 20 persons had read your message, but nobody could of course understand what you are asking for). And all registered members can answer.

I am copying from your e-mail of July 8th.:
"MY GGGREATGRAND FATHER WAS OLA LARSON B-1 MAY 1777 IN OLSTAD DIED 1838 IN LYKKJA JORAMOEN NORWAY. HE WAS MARRIED TO ANNE JONASDATTER B-1784 D-1784. ONE OF THEIR SON'S WAS LARS OLSEN LYKKJA B-28 SEPT 1809 HE MARRIED MAGNHILD HANSDATTER MARIPLASSEN B-18 MARCH 1807 D1874. THEY WERE MARRIED23 APRIL 1833 IN LESJA, ONE OF THEIR SONS WAS HANS LARSON B5 SEPT 1835 LESJA MY GREATGRANDFATHER."

And my answer of July 16th:
"The information you are asking for is found in Bygdebok for Lesja vol. 3, starting page 742 (Lykkja, Joramoen), and continuing same volum page 292 (Ølstad). I cannot take the time to compile it, but if you place your question in one or both debate forums on Norwegian genealogy on Internet, you will definitely get somebody to help you. Just write in English."

May be somebody else can help Wiley?
