Can anyone tell me if there is a bygdebok that gives information on the farm Diesen in Vang back to the 17th century? I am looking for information on Gulbrand Andersen Diesen and Tollef Pedersen Diesen who both marry Eli Olsdatter from Dælin, Stange. Takk.

Rekstad. Children b. at Rekstad a) Elen, baptized. 4/10 1716, b) Anne, baptized 26th of February 1719, b at Dælin c) Ole, baptized. 25th of February 1714, d. young, d) Ole, baptized. 13th of January 1724. 2nd of May 1725 division of estate following the death of Kjeld Olsen. Andreas Eriksen Grønstad and Tjøstel Jensen Løken meet on the behalf of the children.

Hi,
You’re not the only one waiting for the continues work of the Vang bygdebooks – I’m waiting to read more regarding my Dystvold-branch. They are about half way, the 3rd book was published in 2004 – but the worked stopped due to lack of funding and they also need and author to take on the project.
