can anyone give me anymore information on these two families especially the parents as looking through the swedish archives is harder than i thought any info would be appreciated as this is my fathers male side and helps me where my name nilsen came from as nils and anne moved to norway where i was eventually born in 1962

I found some ancestries to Anna Maria Johansdotter Schönning in the capital over smits at Billingsfors Bruk in the parish book "Gamla Steneby I".

Anna Marias fathers side:
The nailer Johan(nes) Andersson Schönning b 1785 29/8 in Billingsfors, Steneby parish and died 1843 8/3 Billingsfors, parish

Anna Marias grandfather: Anders Larsson Schönning b 1762 in Laxarby parish
Anna Marias grandmother: Anna Halfwardsdotter Fägersten b1750 26/1. (Her second marriage. She was the firs time married to Tolv Nilsson Silberg)
Anders and Anna married 1785 in May in Billingsfors.

The parents to Anna Halfwardsdotter were:
Father: 'Plåtsmed' Halfward Larsson Fägersten b 1715 - 1782 16/6
Mother: Maria Eriksdotter Kabbe b 1723 in Billingsfors died in Sept. 1784 in Billingsfors.

They have an English channel and perhaps someone else are surching for the same families as you do. Sillerud parish lies in Värmland and Steneby and Torrskog parishes lies in Dalsland.
