Need help reading a baptism - Ingeborg Michelsdr BIERKE 1779

Greetings all,

I need help reading a baptism record for Ullensaker PR baptism for Ingeborg Michelsen BIERKE, right page; second entry.

Was this a Ekte or uekte birth/christening? Can anything be gleaned about how long the parents were married or if married? Any idea where the farm name BIERKE originates? I see BIERKE references in Østre Toten as well in Ullensaker so there must be movement between. Was there much movement from Ullensaker to Toten and vice versa in this timeframe?

I am trying to discern whether this Ingeborg Mikelsdtr above could be the Ingeborg Mikkelsdt HOFSVANGEN in this 1801 Telling for Toten. It is the only Ingeborg Mikelsdtr I have found which matches the age 21 for this 1801 Telling here:

1801-telling for 0528 Totens

The young woman in the 1801 Telling married a young man in Toten in 1807 who was a Farver apprentice in 1801 and worked in Oslo who moved to Toten about 1802 where he bacame the first Dyer at Damstokken. He is my GGGG Grandfather.

The child was legitimate. The record would clearly indicate if this were not the case. There is nothing to determine how long the parents were married.

Bjerke is a common farm name in Norway. There is a farm by that name in Ullensaker, as well as a farm by that name in Toten. As well as in Nannestad. (That's where my ancestors came from.) It doesn't suggest any connection between Ullensaker and Toten.

Would there be any way to way to discern if this is this young gal in the 1801 Census?
1801 Telling for Totens / Hofsvangen

Would movement from Ullensaker to Totens be reasonably done? Or should I look closer to Toten.

I cannot find her in the www.slektshistorielaget.no

Ingeborg is a very common name. And Mikkelsdatter is not that unusual. So I guess there is no direct way of knowing that these two persons are the same. I'm assuming that you didn't find an Ingeborg Mikkelsdatter baptized in Toten in the likely year. The death (burial) record of the one from Toten might say where she was born. Otherwise, if the names of her children follow the naming pattern which was very common but not universal in Norway, that might be a clue. Also if the sponsors at her children's baptisms included people from Ullensaker, that would be a strong clue.

Now Ullensaker and Toten are not that far apart. But how common any interchange was two hundred years ago, I can't say.

I have a marriage and birth of children all in Toten. I have never found a death record, nor a confirmation nor a baptism/christening record for this Ingeborg though I have only tried slektshistorielaget indexes and not viewed the Parish Registers myself.

The children in birth sequence all from Ingeborg are below. This concurred from both slektshistorielaget and our HAGEMANN family book.

Hedevig Katrine (seems named after grandmother Helvig Catharina)
Johan Andreas Hagemann (Hagermann is grandmother surname)
Søren (named after father)
August Fridrik (don't know)
David Martinus (don't know)
Johane Karrine (don't know)

Thoughts most welcome. Sometimes the smallest clue pans big results.
