Toralf Ansten Eide (5.5.1888 i Vigsnes, Karmøy -) var sønn av ?

Toralf Ansten Eide emigrerte 15 år gammel til Amerika, og kom til en onkel i Slater, Iowa. Etter et par år kom han til Minneapolis hvor han lærte noe stenografi og business praksis,.Han ble reisende i Central- og Sør-Amerika for Syracuse Smelting Works of Brooklyn, New York. Da han kom tilbake til Minneapolis i 1924, ble han sekretær i Franklin Co-operative Creamery Association. Herfra fikk han ett års permisjon for å tjenestegjøre for The Foreign Economic Administration of the US War Departement i Guayaquil, Equador.

Toralf Eide ble medlem av Sons of Norway lodge Oslo 2 i Minneapolis. Han ble valgt til å etterfølge supreme trustee Oscar Erichsen, da denne døde i 1935, og ble senere gjenvalgt flere ganger.
