I am helping a member of Tronderlag prepare for the trip in September. Can you help them? If not, maybe you could refer this to another person.

Bob and Doris Moffett have ancestors from the Esp farm in Leinstrand. Their immigrant ancestor was grandfather, John Arntsen Esp, who was born 1845, on Esp Sondre gaard in Leinstrand. In 1849 he lived at Espaunet in Leinstrand.

Their great-grandmother was Ingeborg Engelsdatter born 1802 on Eggan nedre. She married Arnt Evensen from Esp (born 1802) in Leinstrand.

Another ancestor is Marit Arntsdatter Kraakmo born 1771 in Over-Kraakmo in Melhus. It appears that all of their information has come from the bygdebok.

They hope to visit the farms Esp, Eggan, and Kraakmo and, of course, the Melhus Kirke.

They would like to meet any relatives of the above-mentioned people.

Is there an individual from the Leinstrand/Melhus area who can assist them? [I have looked at the Gulesider and noticed many individuals with the Esp surname living in Leinstrand.]
