Was Mathias Nicolaisen married twice? At the birth of Roy in 1883 and Guala in 1895 the mothers name where Gina.
In census 1900 Mathias wife is Jennie O. In census 1880 Gina is his wife and they have two children Nordall and Hattie.

Lars Nikolaisen has also a son called Nordall

hei! skyter litt i blinde her, men jeg leter etter en Agnethe født på Nes 8.8.1863 som emigrerte til Amerika i november 1885. Lurer på om hun kan være den samme som var gift med din slektning Ludvig? Min Agnethe hadde også norsk mor og svensk far, men het egentlig Olsdatter. Derimot hadde hun en bror i Hendricks, Minnesota, like i nærheten av der Ludvig bodde, i Lake county, South Dakota, så jeg kan jo gjette på at hun kom dit først og derfor kalte seg Hendrickson i Amerika (som din Agnete het før hun giftet seg). Vet du noe som kan bekrefte eller avkrefte dette?
