Johannes Mehre Aarøe

Johannes Mehre Aarøe was born July 8, 1877 in Sandefjord, Vestfold Norway as oldest son of Søren Sørensen Aarøe and Anne Marie Aarøe born Jacobsen.

Johannes was registered as sailor with address: Håkons gt. 10 in Oslo (Kristiania) in the 1900 census together with his parents and brother Arthur b. 1885, Peder b. 1887 and Vilhelm b. 1892. Johannes is not registered on any adress in the 1910 census in Norway.

Accordring to my information, he emigrated to the US. I therefore believe that he left Norway sometimes between 1900 and 1910. However, I have not found any sign either in the protocols of emigration or immigration in the US.

Can anybody help?
