Hello!
I am stuck trying to find immigration info on the following people:
George Andersen, born Mar 1853 in Norway
Johanne Arien, born Dec 1862 in Norway
They are listed in FT for Washburn, Wisconsin in 1895, 1900,. 1905, 1910.
I assume "George" could have been "Jørgen" (or similar) in Norway.
According to the 1900 census, George arrived in the US in 1882 and
Johanna followed in 1883. Their marriage took place in 1883 (no record available, but they were married 17 years in 1900).
The only reference that Johanne's last name was "Arien" is the record of a stillborn baby in Washburn on 4 Sep 1900. Johanne was dead by the 1910 census.
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XRXY-1FR
Since they apparenty married as soon as Johanne arrived in the US, I believe it is safe to assume they already knew each other in Norway. I am only looking for their immigration and home in Norway. I do have their data from Washburn
Children born in Washburn, Wisconsin:
Caroline, Dec 1885
Anne, ca. 1888
Levi George, 25 Jun 1894
Norman L., 6 Jun 1897
stillborn girl, 4 Sep 1900
Morris, 1902
Myrtle, 1905
Does anyone have any ideas?

Brian

Re: George Andersen / Johanne Arien
Margit and Vivi,
Thank you both very much! With your help, this problem is now solved! I found Jørgen and Oluf arriving in Philadelphia on 28 May 1879 aboard the S.S. Ohio. Margit also found that
"Johanne Arien" was a misreading of "Johanne Larsen", and that line is now clear also.
Hilsen,
Brian
