I have used this site to look for the marriage of Elen Marie and John (Jon) Olsen (Olson) in Hennepin county,MN.
http://www.moms.mn.gov
I searched in Hennepin for their marriage...I mostly used John Olson to search (groom's name)
and I used the dates 1888 to 1905 (just guessing!!).
I could not find them.
I even searched using "all counties" (not just Hennepin)
But you can try to find them using that link.

What is the name listed next to Elen Marie's name (after Edwardsdatter) in the emigration record in 1888?..."Mi....oth"??? Is this a farm name?...maybe she used that "over here" before her marriage..or at the time of her marriage.

Her står det at Elen Marie er gift, etternavn Olsen og at billetten er betalt i Amerika. Det virker da mest fornuftig å lete i norske kirkebøker etter vielsen.

The name after Edvardsdatter is Miklavold. It is the name of the farm and I don't think she used that name.

It might help if you find his emigration protocol...but maybe you do not know when he left Norway...

Familien mener hun brukte navnet Olsen - hennes far het Olsen - da hun og barna reiste.
De mener også at hun ikke var gift, men giftet seg sener i Amerika.

Jeg har funnet sønnen Karl Edin og han brukte navnet Olson i Amerika.

Karl Edin (Carl E. Olson) dør i 1943 og da står det at han er sønn av Ellen Mary Olson og John Olson. Jeg leter etter vielsen til Elen Marie for å få bekreftet at John ikke er faren til Karl Edin, samt få bekreftet at dette er "riktig" Olson-familie.

Here it says that his parents are John Olson and Mary Ellen Olson.
When he was born in Norway was his father's name provided to Karl Oluf Ellingsen.
I think Elen Marie married John Olson after she came to America.

Where did her relatives live...and their names
you said they might have paid for her ticket...

Trying to find Ellen living here at some location...perhaps she (and John?) lived with family here.

Then the brother Anton...what last name did he use over here (Olson/Edwardson?)...and when did he emigrate...
Did he go to Nebraska first...or Minneapolis, MN???

What year where these siblings born in Norway.
There must be a way of finding your Elen Marie (Mary)!!!

Is there a reason (other than findagrave info with Carl E. Olson)...that you think Elen married John Olson?
That could be an error at findagrave, that John was the father to Carl (I understand this would not be Carl's "real" father...since Carl was born in Norway...and his father was Karl Oluf Ellingsen).

I put a link to the emigration in answer #4, but I wrote in norwegian. Elen Mathilde and the children leave Norway with the surname Olsen. I think she may have married in Norway, but I haven't been able to finding her marriage in churches close to where she lived.

So far, I have had no luck in finding her on Ancestry. I found a person with a familytree including Elen, but she didn't have much on Elen either.

There MUST be traces of Elen somewhere...

I was able to read your comment in #4..that she left with the name Olsen, was married etc.
Is it possible that she was not married..but said she was??

Why does her sister (Olufa) also use Olson as her last name?...she also married a Mr. Olson??

I have also looked in many ways to find Elen...and even Carl (Charles) in the 1900 census.
(I am able to look at census records using my library card...but it is a version of Ancestry..but I can still search those records).

There was a note of a 1927 obituary for Carl's son (at Carl's findagrave)...I tried to find the obit in a news paper in Minneapolis...no luck. ...the obit was in the Howard Lake newspaper...not sure how to get that!

I think it's possible that Elen Mathilde emigrated with the "image" of a married woman, rather than a unmarried girl with two "illegitimate" children, with different fathers.

The tickets may have been bought by relatives in the US.

The familytree which I found, says Carl stayed with his brother Henry(!) in Bemidji, Beltrami. The information is not linked to any source, but is written as a comment/note to the timeline at the time of immigration, 1888.

The only place I have found that she is married to John Olsen is on Find A Grave.
