Det kan synes som han reiser sammen med far og datter Wehn, fra samme bygd, til Ashland.

Laura Louise Vehn, 83, of Benton died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003.

She was born to William S. and Ada Hilborn Sept. 2, 1920, in Bauxite.

Vehn was a retired LPN and LPTN and a member of Holland Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Erling N. Vehn; and three brothers, Marvin Hilborn, Raymond Hilborn and Charles D. Hilborn.

She is survived by three daughters, Evana McCoy and husband Johnny of Bauxite, Melodee Sanders and husband Randy of Camden, Patricia Atchley and husband Joel D. of Benton; a brother, Donald Hilborn of St. Louis; a sister-in-law, Gertrude Vehn of Benton; six grandchildren, Blake Spickard and Brett Spickard of Bauxite, Nick Atchley and Laura Shelnutt of Benton, Sarah Sanders and Patrick Sanders of Camden; a great-grandchild, Summer Spickard; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Blake Spickard, Brett Spickard, Nick Atchley, Patrick Sanders, Ronnie Vehn, Chase Shelnutt, Daniel Carter and Mark McCoy.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holland Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with the Revs. Jim Harrell and Kim Hammer officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park .

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Ashby Funeral Home.

Gertrude M. Vehn of Benton AR died Thursday, January 19, 2006 at Saline Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bauxite to the late Thomas Newton and Rose Ella Warford Moore. She was a member of Holland Chapel Baptist Church where she worked in the kindergarten department for more than 35 years. She also had owned Ralph’s Restaurant and Stuckey’s and had been a Wal-Mart Greeter. In addition to her parents, her husband Ralph Vehn, daughter Brenda Kay, great granddaughter Alex Wright, two brothers, and one sister also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Vehn of Benton; daughters, Marilyn Jordan and husband Steve and Janis Jones and husband Phil all of Benton; grandchildren, Tracy Jones and husband Robert Jones of Maumelle, Christy Melder and husband Lee of Cabot, Amanda Wright and husband Randy of Benton, Brad Jordan of Benton, Trey and Chris Jordan both of Conway, Jennifer and Jill Jones both of Benton, and Ashley Vehn of Searcy; great grandchildren, Logan, Carly, and Cooper Melder of Cabot and Jake and Beau Wright both of Benton; nieces, Evana McCoy of Benton, Melodee Sanders of Camden, and Tricia Atchley of Benton; daughters by choice, Sherry Gage and Candy Miller, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2006 Holland Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Kim Hammer and Rev. Clyde Chenault officiating. Interment will follow at Fairplay Cemetery. Mrs. Vehn’s grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening January 20th at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047).

Jeg har informasjon om Kermit W. Moen som er listet opp. Jeg mener at det må være samme person for når han døde i 2004 har han fortsatt to gjenlevende søstre som heter Evelyn og Lila.
