Miss Velma Marie Smith and Thoralf H. Dahl were united in marriage Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock at the Grace Lutheran church by the pastor, Rev. H.A. Okdale. The single ring ceremony was used. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Benson were the attendants. The bride wore a yellow roshara crepe suit trimmed with white fur, with hat to match, and she carried a bouquet of sweetpeas and roses. After the ceremony the bridal party went to the home of the bride's parents, Mr. an Mrs. Francis I. Smith, 705 First street SW, where an informal reception was held for the bridal party and a few friends. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Smith, assisted by Miss Helen Rasmussen. Mr. and Mrs. Dahl will make thier home at 113 Sixth Avenue SE. Mr Dahl is employed by the International Harvester.
