In the attached confirmation record for Aksel Andresen, there are numbers in column 8. Would anyone know what they mean.

It is the date for when he got the certificate for his vaccination. The name there is the person who performed the vaccination.

Usually you could also find this date again in the marriage records.

Are they skole grades ? if they are school grades why are they in the confirmation records.

If you look in older Churchbooks you can see this in Norwegian: Kristendomskundskab, Flid og Orden.

I can´t find the right words in my wordbook, but I find this.

Kristendomskunnskap = Religious studies - (how good they learned, read and write)

Orden og Oppførsel = orderliness and conduct

This grades is about how they learned religion, how good they read/write , how they take care of them selves, how they behaved and so on.
