Olia Pedersdatter/Pedersen born 2 May 1878 in Elverum Hedmark and Syverin (Martiniussen) Gulbrandsen born 17 June 1877 in Stange Hedmark had a daughter Olga Jenny who was born on 4 February 1899 in Vang Hedmark.
in the attached photograph the young lady is dressed in white and we thing it is Olga on her confirmation day. I'm hoping someone will recognise the photo and confirm the identity of the young woman.

Hi, I think you are on to something about that picture. I found Olgas Confirmation in Askim, Østfold. If you look at that picture it say Askim as the place the fotographer was located. Her Confirmations day was 5 oct 1913.

Your help is very much appreciated. My Norwegian family are becoming very hard to find and it is nice to get help. I think they might have had gypsy blood in them, they keep moving and we don't know what counties they go to but I'll keep searching.

I forgot to ask you a question a long time ago. Did any of your family come from the Aamot area with the names Andreassen or Pedersen. I know they are common names but I thought I'd ask you anyway.

My grandfathers family originally came from Vollbakken/Ulvaaen farm.

I have now found the marriage record for Olga. From my searching, Olga always had the name "Andresen".

she married Oskar Torleif Rasmussen on 25 February 1922 in the parish of Paulus.
Oskar was born 8 April 1898 in Kristiania and his father was Jorgen Olav Rasmussen.

Olga & Torleif had one child that I can find, a daughter named Ella Grete born in the parish of Paulus on 17 July 1922.

The trail then ends. I can not find emigration or death records for Olga or Oskar.

I would be interested to hear from anyone who can give me more information and continue the story.
