Can anyone tell me when tintypes came into use in Denmark? I know they were invented in England in 1856. I have a tintype of an unknown Danish family and I am trying to narrow it down by the years they were popular and the possible ages of the people in the photo.

but scan or photograph it front and back
and put it on the web where we can look at it and tell others to do so
