I seek information about a sister and 3 brothers to my fathers mother, they
emigrated from Denmark to USA 1880. They are: Marie Mikkelsen (married to
Martin Pedersen), born 1. June 1868, died 24. October 1937. She lived in
Seattle in 1936. Martin had been employed by the railways. They lived in St.
Paul, Minn. 1906. Marie had 3 children: 2 sons, Peter (Pit), William (Willi)
and a daughter Anna Helene (Ann).
Christian Mikkelsen (Chris ? Mekkelsen), born 6. April 1859
Anton Mikkelsen (Mekkelsen), born 10.May 1861
Jens Mikkelsen (John Mekkelsen), born 25. December 1864
The 3 brothers americanized their names to Mickelson and lived in Minnesota.

I would like to communicate with anyone who might have any information about
members of this family or descendants.

then look at the rootsweb.com notice boards and mailing lists for Iowa

and look for an obitusry or two

have a look at familysearchindexing too

http://www.familysearchindexing.org/en/index.jsp

Glamorgan, Wales Parish Registers is listed as upcoming
Monmouthshire will probably go the same route in a while

and it would be silly to duplicate the work
one of the reasons I am going slowly with freereg is to avoid wasteful
duplication of effort

the images are on line of excellent quality
and it is a massive team
in cooperation with the National Library of Wales
