Need help in translation

Legg inn av Welch Hillsider » 27. november 2006 kl. 3.13

While cleaning my mother's house we came upon this information on my
Grandparents, who came from Finland.

Could you help me translate the writing?

Scans of them are uploaded to "flickr", the page is

Thank you for translating the note on the board found in the attic.

I will upload an enhanced scan of my Grandmother's history (Lissi Suopanki)
to the flickr site.

It seems that Lissi Suopanki was born (near) Kemijarvi. Is that right? I
don't know the 16 cases of Finnish words.

I am planning on a trip to northern Finland in 2008 to find some more
information on my family. Not much was said about them at home.

The document is quite readable now. Lissi Suopanki was born on 20th
May 1873 in the Ylikylä village in Kemijärvi. Her parents were Mikko
Suopanki and Riita Tiina. She married M. Henrikki Pöyliö on 6th April
1902. Furthermore she arrived in the U.S. six months later, then
Soudon on 28th February 1909.

I am planning on a trip to northern Finland in 2008 to find some more
information on my family. Not much was said about them at home.

Here's the basic information on Kemijärvi parish from the database of
the Finnish Genealogical Society:
BTW there are 167 Pöyliös living in Finland right now, so besides your
roots you might find some branches here, too.

Thank you for the translation. I have been stumbling on the grammar.

Now to find out where they were in the years between the voyage and arrival
in northern Minnesota.

I have a listing on one of their children that seems to place her birth near
St Paul, Minnesota in 1905.

Some day I will get a better scan of some church records ( Suomi Synod )
from Soudan.
