Reverse Ahnentafel format?

It is called the Henry format. Something like

1.2.3.4.5 to say 5th child of the 4th child of the 3rd child
of the 2nd child of 1.

Some varieties exists:

abcde (same meaning)
12345 (same meaning)
12(13)45 (3rd changed for 13th)
1.2.3b.4.5 (3b is from the 2nd wedding of 1.2)
1.2.6.17.34 (numbering is not reset after each generation)
etc.

In looking for more details, I found a useful Web page at

which gives descriptions of the Henry format, variations
on the Henry format, and various other formats for listing
ancestors and descendants. If anyone else is interested
in these formats, this is a good place to start.

Yes.

Here's a sample of the "de Villiers/Pama" system, which is used as a standard
in genealogical journals and other publications in in South Africa.

The person whos descendants are being enumerated is a1, and desdendants are
given a generation letter (b for children, c for grandchildren etc) and a
number based on birth order, so each person on the chat has a unique code.
